Months of speculation ended on Monday September 18 when Fox News programming President Suzanne Scott made the announcement: Fox News prime time schedule is set for yet another big change starting next week. This marks the fourth major adjustment in Fox News critical evening lineup in less than a year.
The Drudge Report Sept. 18, 2017 2:03 P.M. E.T.
This change has been in the works for about two months. As I reported for American Thinker back on August 16, Laura Ingraham will join the channel with her own show at 10 P.M. E.T. The Ingraham Angle, as it will be called, is scheduled to premiere on October 30. The other big change, which I also reported five weeks ago, is that Sean Hannity, who has been on at 10 P.M. since 2013 (and in prime time on Fox News since the channel launched in 1996), will move to 9 P.M. Last month, the rest of the media got this part of the story wrong in predicting that Hannity would remain at 10 P.M. Hannity, at 9 P.M., will finally be in a position to take on the current cable news leader Rachel Maddow, whose MSNBC show went to the top of the ratings after Bill OReilly was fired by FNC last April and The Five was moved to 9 P.M. A weak contender in the ratings in prime time, the ensemble lightweight political chat show The Five will move back to 5 P.M. starting next Monday, making room for Hannitys shift to the 9 oclock hour the same night.
Fox executive Scotts announcement generated a lot of coverage in the media on Monday and was noted at the end of Bret Baiers news hour Monday evening at 6:59 PM on FNC.

I watch Tucker Carlson every morning when I wake up. Now I’ll add Laura to the playlist. Hannity’s important opening monologue doesn’t seem to change from day to day or month to month so I only watch him occasionally, usually by accident.
“Big changes?” Fire PeRINO, Juan, Hayes, Queen Shep, Chris Wall-ass, and Stirewalt and THEN we can talk “Big Changes.”
While I welcome Laura’s new show it really is just shuffling chairs on the Titanic. FNC needs young, smart, conservative firebrands(like say, a 30 year-old Lou Dobbs)to carry the fight to the Left which is hell-bent on destroying this country.
Tucker Carlson, while very smart, is a milquetoast conservative. The war is on. We need warriors, not negotiators.
I travel frequently for work and catch a few minutes of Fox and Friends in the morning at the hotel when I can. Otherwise, I don’t watch Fox at all. I don’t have cable and it shuts down liberals when they claim I get all my news from FOX.
I get all my news from Free Republic and none of it from FOX. See tagline
Rearranging the deck chairs before the ship goes down?
That Hannity is moving to BOR’s time slot must be euphoric for him. My other half has always believed there was friction between the two. Yesterday he came home expressing that he had heard Sean interview BOR on his radio show. Asked which of the two did the most interrupting...
OTOH, nice to see the old evening line up back on schedule.
Faux Snooze.
Maybe Laura can shake things up over there.
I live in Spain and all of the American news shows are over by the time I wake up. I watch Carlson on Youtube. The only American news program in our area is Fox News but even Fox and Friends doesn’t come on until 11am and I’m in bed before prime time starts.
I like Tucker but his set up format is becoming tiresome.
How many dim bulbs and loons are there left to interview ?
[That Hannity is moving to BORs time slot must be euphoric for him.]
Hannity’s not getting BOR’s old time slot. He’s going back to his 9pm slot he had before MEgyn took it.
Hannity is a good decent guy but he’s best with lining up guests and uncovering scandals. He wastes 10 valuable minutes each show with his monologues that all seem to have a similar theme. Plus he wastes more time by replaying the same montages of liberals crapping all over Trump. Yeah, we know they hate him. And we hate them. How many times has he played Madonna “wanting blowing up the White House”? It’s the same stuff night after night. I hope his new show is different.
In your desire to eliminate , you overlook the founding principle, Fair and Balanced
The genius of Roger ailes, the ultimate conservative was to insist on fair and balanced. He knew that a purely conservative programming effort was not economically viable
He's a good guy but the drama queen act and the constant promises of major developments "just around the corner" have worn thin.
Funny, because O'Reilly specifically asked Hannity not to interrupt him for a few minutes while he was going to make an important point about his being targeted by the left.

Yes perhaps Laura can have better luck than her last two attempts at television.
LOL thank you for the knock on the head :-/
Sleep talking here. Time for caffeine.
I hope he puts down the football.
I don't watch his television show because I gave up FNC after the first Republican primary debate fiasco, so I can't say how he behaves on his TV show.

What about Doocy Howser? Does that kid get a show?
