Southeast Florida newsrooms are staffed by 25 year old bimbos who think a waiting line at Starbucks is an international incident.
Do you ( or anyone ) have any info on when or if ports close in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami?
The Daily Update is absolutely free.

Just received word that Sarasota Co. has declared a local state of emergency.
If CONUS watches/warnings are posted with the 11AM update, give me a few minutes to post a new thread.
Thank you!!!!!!!!!
Still a lot of variables to go through and looks like the whole State of FL is taking this seriously which is good. Where this ends up is still a ? Hope the models come to a consensus soon, hopefully later tonight/tomorrow.
Check the specific State law for sheltering pets.PETS Act/Post-Katrina Emergency Management Reform Act seems to have the usual bureaucratic confusion, hence the FB post. Probably got confused by service animals verses household pets.
It is dead-on the line as forecasted so far.
11am posting shows a further slight weakening.... to 175mph sustained. Still will efficiently rearrange your patio furniture into the next neighborhood.
