Cool. South Carolina is sending in some special recovery ops as well. All of the states near are sending in help.
I could recite help from every state. It is just so difficult to get in. The Airports may be closed to the public but not so much in an emergency situation.
I flew into Biloxi without a watt of power on the ground and the place completely wiped out. Airports will be utilized for emergency personnel.

These are some specialized teams with great craft.
The logistics of this help becomes the nightmare.
We cannot have every state send help all at once. It must be coordinated.

No not really sport. The Amtracs are based in Galveston already with the USMC reserve. They can operate where boats cannot. They can crash right through debris and crap that would destroy the prop or hull on your bass boat. They can hold A LOT of people. They can go across flats and sand. They can go as far inland as needed to a drop off point.
And they come with a USMCR crew that is trained and will get the job DONE.
I doubt they care how you think it looks.
