Bob Bowers Civic Center in Port Arthur, Texas, - where hundreds were taking shelter from Hurricane Harvey - flooded on Tuesday night as the floods continued to rise.

All have been evacuated to new shelter safe and sound...

They are currently replacing both gates, with cofferdams erected, casually referred to in a press conference along the lines of “ we believe in our dams and that includes the cofferdams”, but I don’t have a link for that.

Victims of Hurricane and Tropical Storm Harvey were captured on video breaking out into song at a shelter. The scene received almost 7.5 million views in the last 17 hours.
The singers are staying at the Lone Star Convention and Expo Center in Conroe, Texas, north of Houston.

She stuck it out, and the water's receding now... they can almost get their truck out now. They had possible looters buzzing around their house in a boat before dawn this morning... but her BF is in "international security" and they are well armed (and he's rather intimidating looking), so they have been fine so far. She's a mix of Sicilian and Cajun, and not to be messed with either.
