Good morning Mr. President... what is your administration doing about the hurricane to keep Texans safe?

All they can.
Waiting around with your thumb up your butt waiting for orders is the Muslim way
This is a bad storm but coming in at night makes it worse. I don’t believe the storm surge is going to be near as high as Katrina but this could certainly still be a bad storm.
That Acosta clown is a complete idiot. They shouldn’t allow him in press briefings. He’s a disruptive POS.
North Korea launches missiles and Harvey becomes a Cat 4 hurricane.
with it sticking around til Wednesday I fear it will be really bad.
It’s not going to be nice being on the right side of that eye as it comes ashore . It’s coming in as the tides are coming in so the storm surge is going to be nasty . I hope every one evacuated that shoreline because this thing is going to hang out for a while and rescue is going to be very difficult.
I’ve been through many hurricanes including a couple of Cat 5 and I would not want to be on the Texas shore this evening.
May God have mercy .
I wish that I trusted the peeps making these measurements and determining the storm strength categories.
Right now they’ve done all they can. Once this thing passes is when the work starts. My money say we’ll see the Calvary in all it’s glory. This won’t be an easy one to rebound from.
Has a hurricane ever just up and formed in the Gulf before? This storm came out of nowhere.
Lots of times.
Blood! Death! Disaster! Hobgoblins!
The MSM is in 7th heaven. They live for death and destruction.

You can trust what comes off Mike’s Weather Page
He set up a page just for Harvey and he did just announce
that it hit Cat 4 . I live in Florida and I watch his page all the time during hurricane season. His info is top notch with no drama .

Watch his notes on the right hand side
many, many times
That is a bit scary.
The Mobile, AL area received almost 40 inches of rain within a 24 hour period during Hurricane Danny in 1997. I believe one are received over 7” in an hour. Danny didn’t have near this high of wind.
Hopefully, this thing will get out of there more quickly than they’re thinking.

Yes it has happened before .
It has happened in the Atlantic also.
Hurricane Andrew that destroyed south Florida formed right off shore and came out of nowhere.
The problem with the ones that form off shore is they come ashore as they are increasing in strength and they eye wall is not falling apart.
