GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore has said he doesn't believe Obama is a natural-born citizen

Former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, a Republican candidate for US Senate, has cast doubt on former President Barack Obama's citizenship repeatedly and as recently as December 2016, fueling the debunked "birther" movement that sought to delegitimize Obama's presidency.

Moore, who started questioning the legitimacy of Obama's citizenship back in 2008, last year told a meeting of the Constitution Party that he personally did not believe Obama was a natural-born citizen.

"My opinion is, there is a big question about that," Moore said when asked how he defines natural-born citizen as it relates to qualifications for president. CNN's KFile reviewed video from the event.

One MORE reason to support Roy Moore.
May God bless his candidacy into a victory. Amen.

when I talk with a leftist supporter of Obama I believe that most believe Obama is lying but only care about the end result that they think they will get by supporting the lie.

What? It seems like Judge Moore doesn’t believe Obama is a natural born citizen. That’s a matter of law, a term which not everybody translates the same way. That is not the same thing as saying he’s not a citizen.

Duh! The person he publicly claims to be his baby daddy was a British subject! Not an American. Never even became an American!

At best jug ears was a dual citizen before he gave that up for his Indonesian citizenship.

Strange was appointed to fill the vacancy, then immediately ran into the arms of Mitch McConnell. Used Mitch McConnell money to attack Mo Brooks, one of the most conservative members of the House.

I think Moore is a nutcase, but I will vote for him over Strange.

That is not the same thing as saying he’s not a citizen.

Granted, but there is no evidence of his birth anywhere so we cannot determine his citizenship of any country.

According to the Naturalization Act of 1790, which clearly defines what a natural born citizen is, Obama definitely is not.

Obama down played his own claim of American birth earlier in his life. His author bio claimed he was born in Kenya, he dismissed questions about his own origins while running for Senator, there are claims that he played up his foreign nationalities (he grew up in Indonesia) as he trashed the US while in school, and suspicions that he may have enrolled as a “foreign” student.

If the past is murky it is because Obama deliberately made it so.

And a record album released while John FTA Kerry was in a high school rock band claims that Kerry was from Oslo.

Hell, the media even considers it a lie to mention that Obama was raised as a muslim. They say he has a Christian faith. Nothing he’s said identifies himself as a Christian. He doesn’t believe Jesus is the Savior (said so in an interview). He was “brought to Christ” by Rev. Jeremiah Wright a bigoted “former” muslim. Obama was enrolled as a muslim in school and even wrote about goofing off in his koranic studies class.

Do NOT let your heart be troubled.

This will not hurt him with Alabama voters.

Wanna know why?

They also do not believe Obama was born in the USA!

Much more than 20%, Pepsionice.

At least 50%. I’m serious. It was brought up all the time in thousands of political chats I’ve heard over the past 9-10 years or so.

And you know where we FIRST heard it? Hillary’s primary campaign in late 2007!

You are aware that that particular act has been amended and superseded umpteen times since 1790?

Moore nails the truth. Sadly, the truth is no longer the truth unless the left says so.

I don’t either. However, Obama had very little to do with where he was born.

“You are aware that that particular act has been amended and superseded umpteen times since 1790?”

Yes, and that is beside the point. The Constitutional requirement for natural born definitely has not.
