Agreed. Bannon may think he has influence with Trump’s base that he doesn’t.
I’m all for them going after the globalist agenda, but jumping all over Trump merely minutes after he completed his speech comes across as Bannon vindictiveness.
As a very early member of Breitbart ( when it had but one board...BIG HOLLYWOOD ) I have seen, with disgust, the mess that has been made of that site, since Breitbart died, At first it was bit a trickle of "something's off here", to the vast expansion, purges, and never ending ads! The articles have gotten more and more as you claimed them to be.
Too many posts to read through, but POTUS started out by saying something about all troops are special or something, which I presume means the libiots are going to be screaming, “What about tranny troops?”

Bannon was the only one in the White House going against the generals with Trump, I would absolutely expect Bannon to go against Trump on this one, Trump said on the campaign trail we would GET OUT of Afghanistan Bannon sees this as a broken campaign promise!!! Bannon tried to keep Trump TRUE to everything he told his supporters so this rift is not surprising!!! If there are other failures in Trumps message as OCARE and Afghanistan Bannon will hold Trumps feet to the fire!!! The senate and house WANT Trump to fail so there will be HUGE trouble with tax plans, and WALL bet on it so expect Bannon to call Trump out on it, HOWEVER Bannon will also hold the TRAITORS in both houses responsible!! Trump backing Ryan, McCain, and McConnell is not helping him!! I pray that Moore wins Alabama and kick McConnell’s lacky to the curb even though Trump endorsed Strange!! Very stupid move on Trumps part again!!

Bannon, himself, has said that he is STILL WITH THE PRESIDENT ( meaning that he's going to fight OTHERS! )all the way!
Do YOU personally know what all of his advisers have told President Trump vis-a-vis the situations in Afghanistan, Pakistan, China, and al Qaeda and ISIS?

IMHO, Pres. Trump by eliminating many Rules of Engagement and nation building activities has pushed the swamp away from interfering with our ability to win and win quickly.
All we should be doing is quickly killing terrorists and protecting our interests.

If Bannon wants to support the “Trump base” he is going to need to find a way to attack policy more than attacking Trump. By acting or sounding more like attacking Trump he will NOT be, in the end, supporting the “Trump base”, he will be dividing it.
Bannon has more than one way of skinning the deep swamp cat.
Personal attacks by him on Trump will wind up benefiting the left and the Dims as his attacks will merely be additional food for the fodder for them.
It is a question of approach. He can still benefit the “Trump base” or he can divide it.
I think its time that dresser got overturned. I’ve been reading FR since its inception, though only recently decided to stick my 2 cents into the conversation. But, with the nonsense that I see posted lately, since Donald Trump first came on the scene, it sure seems that the intellectual honesty has taken a dive down the crapper. And, while the “names” have changed, the writing style / attitude (or whatever attribute you may choose to define it) is familiar to those who gave their “opuses” during his campaign. And in all the time I’ve read FR, never did I witness such venom spewed as came forth from the poison pens of the never-Trump crowd. It was mind blowing to the point that I stopped coming here for a while.
Not that FR should ever become an echo chamber - BUT, I expect that the “man in charge,” that man being the guy who now sits in the Oval Office, surely has access to information and a grasp of facts in context, far above ANY individual here on FR. In that vein, I find all the “back benching” (to quote some dude named Levine)a waste of bandwidth. Of course, I must confess that my caustic responses to these clowns makes me equally guilty! (sigh)

In short, by your vote, you gave the man your trust to do the job to the best of his abilities. Now, for God’s sake, let him do the job! He’s not an idiot, he’s not a quisling, and he’s not anybody’s fool - so stop implying such!
