Nonsense. He ran against all these meddling skirmishes in the Middle East for costing lives and billions of dollars. Outside of the media everyone knows that he didn’t put us in Afghanistan.
I have read reports that ISIS is getting its ass blown up all over Syria under new ROE.
I hope we can duplicate that on the Taliban.

I love that Trump keeps our enemies guessing. Remember, he dumped a big fat MOAB right on top of Taliban tunnel networks.
Trump sounded strong and resolute. Also loved the no nation building comments. Send our military in to kill the enemy, leave the nation building to the U.N.

There were so many things to like in this speech.
One (of many) that I particularly liked was what he said about the rules of engagement. It will be a wonderful thing to allow our military to fight without the treasonous handicap of 0vomit’s ROEs. Under 0vomit, they were fighting with a blindfold on and one hand tied behind their backs.

Agreed. People tend to forget that Trump is playing 3D chess while everybody else is playing checkers. He's concerning himself with world matters and how to solve those problems, letting the states deal with the others.
I want to go on record in saying that I fully support the President’s decision to send troops to Afghanistan.
That area of the world IS in America’s national interest as we found out so tragically with Osama bin Laden, whose headquarters were located there.
It’s a training center and a launching pad for terrorists into our country and our presence is needed to hold back this evil.
This has nothing to do with “nation building,” but it has everything to do with protecting our nation. And that is why President Trump is keeping troops there and I applaud him.

Confirmed a bad idea by Lindsey Graham who is just now foaming at the mouth in support, just like he was when Obama went into Libya and Syria.
