One third of republicans want McConnell and Ryan out.
One third of republicans are on the take from Big-Gov and don’t want any changes.
One third of republicans wants to nuke the entire federal government.
that is all well and good, until the polls open in November of 2008.. dumb electorate will vote the same RINOs in they have voted for decades now.

Cruz is not what I have in mind at all. He has a brilliant legal mind, but he is going to want to push the limits of the law rather than finding a place of consensus. We need a consensus of Americans.

That seems about right to me. I’ve been thinking if Trump walked and started a 3rd Party that only about a 1/3 of the GOP base would follow him. That’s enough to destroy the GOP but not enough to beat the Democrats.
Is that all? We are so screwed.

The important part is that 35% believe it wouldn’t make a damn bit of difference, which means they have no faith that the Republicans would elect anyone that would support their constituency.
One part of me would just as soon have them be the minority party, it’s more frustrating to see them have all three branches of govt and not get anything done than to have a reason to be helpless.
Due to the way the question is asked, it looks like it’s more like 35% plus the 36% don’t support him, they just don’t think they’ll elect anyone better. So....71% think he’s a joke.

We’re getting steam rolled right now by the Dems and their media. We need leaders who stand their ground and dish it right back to the rampaging Dems. Cruz had no problem doing that during the primaries. Strange to see him hiding under his desk right now. Go look on twitter. The radio silence from the likes of Cruz and Lee is quite telling. They have no interest in supporting POTUS in his battle to defeat the Democrats.
You must run 1 and only 1 conservative. Splitting the base is how a POS like Linda gets in with the Rat crossovers. Draw straws, flip coins, settle it in the ring do whatever you must but get it down to 1 person to take out Linda. Same goes for Flake, Heller and Corker.
So the question is are they voting their hopes or their perception of reality. They didn't ask, do you want him gone. I want him gone for his sins. If it makes little difference, well, he is still gone, and that is some small justice.

I think they are quiet because Cruz and Lee plan on running 2020 if Trump goes down in flames. (ain’t going to happen)
I’ve tried to give Cruz benefit of the doubt .... my gut always tells me different. IMO, Cruz and Lee are both backstabbers.

He’s not the guy for this and it looks like he knows it. What we need is not more hot air, we need law, order, gravitas. We need for the loons to be arrested and processed through the legal system. We need an end to the globalism which is enough of a hot mess that it is going to result in no privacy and civil liberties for anyone. We need cops, judges, generals (promoted on the field), we already have lawyers and are looking at the result.
