In light of the recent movement to remove Confederate statues, NBA legend Charles Barkley said worrying about “those stupid statues” was a “waste” of time.
Barkley said in his 54 years he has “never thought about those statues,” adding he would rather worry about bettering the black community.

Here Barkley is 100% on target with some excellent simple comments.

I wish more highly visible Black folks would talk some sense to the BLM and ANTIFA groups. For that matter, to the media and Democrats as well...

Every day I see black people going to work or working. I doubt any of them think of Confederate statues. Only the activists do. When the time comes, ordinary black people will suffer with the whites because the revolution always eats its own.
Charles used to identify as a Republican, but he’s all over the map politically.
Barkley speaks his mind, even when it’s politically incorrect to do so. From Wikipedia:

For all his crazy ways, Charles Barkley does make sense at times. Right or wrong he says what he means and means what he says, gotta respect that.
