Tough to avoid that situation.
I do, when in feral areas, try to drive very slow if I see a red light ahead so I never have to come to a complete stop. At a complete stop you’re a sitting duck for a carjacking.
Jackson is yet another once beautiful town that was destroyed by LBJ and his Great Society. The best thing to happen to Jackson will be the awakening of the New Madras fault which will hopefully swallow up both Jackson and Memphis in one shot.

I knew a high school cheerleader that was murdered in a similar fashion, pulled into an apartment parking spot and somebody just walked up and shot her where she sat. It was never solved, most considered it gang initiation related.
Some of these crimes might have happened without all the race baiting going on. It sure seems like somebody is trying to start a race war though.

I think the number of conservatives in that demographic would shock both of us.
