What's the problem? Haitians speak French.
Not really. They mostly speak Haitian Creole which is different enough to need a translator. Their documentation, such as it is, would be in French, I believe, so that's something.

In the nineties, when I lived in South Florida, I found the Haitians really sweet, hard-working people. Knew them mostly from supermarkets. My friend, who was hospitalized, said Haitian orderlies and even floor sweepers were the kindest people there. Then she got a Haitian roommate, and a family of Haitians came daily, and again, were very sweet to my white friend, prayed for her too.
Meanwhile, down in Miami, Haitians were the most vicious killers the city had ever seen. Scary.
