U.S. Authorities Consider Shutting Down Hard-Right Rallies After Charlottesville By Graham Lanktree On 8/17/17 at 9:06 AM

A series of hard-right rallies planned for the coming weeks are under threat of being shut down after a violent white nationalist rally in Charlottesville left one counter-protester dead last weekend.

In San Francisco, the U.S. National Park Service (NPS) said it is deciding whether to pull the permit of a group called Patriot Prayer, which has organized a “Freedom Rally” in the city’s Crissy Park below the Golden Gate bridge on August 26.

There wouldn’t have been any violence in Chancellorsville if the anarchists and their fellow travelers hadn’t shown up.

I'm sure the people of Phoenix, Arizona will never recover from that calamity. /sarcasm off/

"Shortly after President Trump posted a link for tickets to a rally in Phoenix, the city's mayor issued a statement asking the president not to come, saying, "our nation is still healing from the tragic events in Charlottesville."

Mayor Greg Stanton continued, "If President Trump is coming to Phoenix to announce a pardon for former Sheriff Joe Arpaio, then it will be clear that his true intent is to enflame emotions and further divide our nation."

Stanton, a Democrat, is in his second term as Phoenix's mayor, having won re-election last November.

Trump's announcement of an Aug. 22 rally at the Phoenix Convention Center didn't mention Arpaio, but it immediately renewed speculation that he might use the event to pardon the controversial former sheriff who became famous for his tough stance on illegal immigration."

American’s derive their freedoms from their creator. Anyone that uses force to deprive them of these rights, is evil.

Trump’s Arizona rally offers showdown with McCain, Flake
By Alexander Bolton - 08/17/17 06:00 AM EDT

President Donald Trump is heading to Arizona next week, setting the stage for a battle with two of his most vociferous GOP critics — Arizona Sens. John McCain and Jeff Flake.

Trump is scheduled to hold a rally Tuesday at the Phoenix Convention Center, and has already teased a big announcement, fueling speculation that he may endorse Arizona Treasurer Jeff DeWit as a primary challenger to Flake, who faces reelection next year.

In his new book, “Conscience of a Conservative,” Flake called on Republicans to stand up to Trump if he is damaging the GOP.

He also criticized Trump for the “strange specter” of showing “affection for strongmen and authoritarians” such as Russian President Vladimir Putin and Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sissi.

McCain is a frequent antagonist for Trump and just weeks ago killed his ObamaCare repeal efforts in the Senate with a dramatic vote days after the disclosure that he has brain cancer.

known for an image of him hitting an anti-fascist counterprotest with a stick that went viral online.

People who write for a living should be able to compose a coherent sentence. How did he manage to get that stick to go viral? Would it fit onto the internet?

When I was in the 10th Grade, I hadn't finished my homework for English class. Just before class was to start, I was frantically flipping through my textbook in search of the homework questions.

I turned to a page in a chapter we hadn't covered yet. It was a list of examples of misplaced phrases like the above. The exercise was to rewrite them so they were coherent.

I still remember one: We saw a great deal of farm country riding along in our car. (didn't know anybody's vehicle needed a good interior cleaning as much as mine.)

After reading a whole series of these, I was laughing so hard that not only did I fail to get my homework finished, but the teacher walked in and when I couldn't quiet down, she sent me to the dean's office.

It's clear the Left's tactics to shutting down any form of disagreement have changed.

Instead of screaming, banging on doors, breaking windows and beating up people for which the Left is roundly condemned by normal Americans, they've been able to convince municipal authorities and other elected representatives to:

Step 1: Issue a permit for a patriotic American group to hold a rally in the name of "free speech" and "tolerance"
Step 2: A few days later issue a permit for a Leftist group to hold a rally in the same local area and on the same day as the normal peoples' rally
Step 3: Publicly announce grave concerns with the likelihood of violence at the competing rallies
Step 4: In the name of "public safety" rescind the patriotic American's group permit.

The result is a glorious victory for the Leftist thugs who will have not only stopped the Right from speaking, they will be subsequently praised 24/7 by the Left, fake-news media for their wisdom in preventing violence.

So, what's the high-hard counterpunch to this new intolerance?

There never was a “hard-right” rally in Charlottesville. Some bastardized and badly skewed word like “alt-right” was bandied about, but what the hell does that even mean?

The term seems to be applied to people the left wants to set up as straw men. In fact, all these “white supremists” and Neo-Nazis, and even the KKK, represent some form of “command and control” means of taking over rule of people under their territorial claim. Not necessarily a legitimately established government, but a reign of fear and intimidation, ideas that are anathema to those who value individual liberty and the right to quiet enjoyment of acquired property, under a general prosperity as a result of diligent effort at honest work.

What was happening at Charlottesville was the confrontation of several different varieties of “command and control” ideology, like multiple sports teams with a lot of bad blood already, meeting in a tournament of sorts.

“There can be only one!”
