Chelsea Clinton: 'There's no compromise with bigotry'

Chelsea Clinton on Tuesday said when it comes to bigotry there's "no compromise" on which side you should stand on.

"There's no compromise with bigotry. The 14th Amendment repealed the abomination of the Constitution's '3/5ths compromise.'" Clinton tweeted, referencing the founding fathers' agreement to count the population of slaves as three-fifths in total when calculating a states' number of representatives.

Clinton also tweeted a quote by Jewish writer, activist and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel, reading: "We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented."
