WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump told reporters Tuesday that the counter-protesters demonstrating against white nationalism were also to blame for the violence at race-fueled riots in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend.
“There are two sides to a story. I thought what took place was a horrible moment for the country, but there are two sides to a story,” the president said at Trump Tower in Manhattan.
He also said the statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee in Charlottesville was "very important" to the people who participated in the march, and asked whether opponents of such monuments were also prepared to take down statues to George Washington and Thomas Jefferson because they, too, owned slaves.
"I wonder is it George Washington next?" he asked.
His remarks double down on his remarks Saturday, threatening to undo any goodwill the president received by denouncing the Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazis during a statement at the White House on Monday. The president was criticized for what many, including politicians on both sides of the aisle, saw as an initially tepid response in which he said “many sides” were to blame for the violence that killed one woman and injured 19 other people.
Trump defended the 48 hour delay Tuesday, saying he “wanted to know the facts” before condemning the white nationalists. He then equated the white supremacists on the right to the “alt-left.”

4chan researchers found that the guy who organized the “white nationalist rally” is an Occupy Wall Street (communist) Obama supporter. He was originally denied a permit for the rally at that location because it was too hard to provide security there so he sued to be able to have the rally there where it was hard to provide security. My understanding is that he is closely tied to both CNN and to George Soros funding.
4chan also found that a company that does “crisis staging” advertised on craigslist for actors for an event in Charlottesville, shortly before this event.
And they found that the videographer of the “attack” is a State Dept/CIA operative. One gal who was videotaping was attacked by a shirtless guy; I’m wondering if he was a paid actor making sure that the CIA’s “official narrative” was the only one people would be allowed to see. And I can’t help but wonder how many of the “white nationalist” folks there were actually actors.
One of my first thoughts about this event was that it seemed there was more to the story, and that the media was awfully quick to run their agenda BEFORE anybody had a chance to find out what actually happened. A lot like Ferguson and Trayvon Martin. Trump was right to refuse to convict/condemn without knowledge of actual facts, and his response shows how totally un-factual and unhinged everybody else is.
It was speculated here this morning that this was planned to try to get rid of Steve Bannon. Bannon fights back like Trump does, and I really, really hope that Trump doesn’t let this apparent hoax be successful. I hope this ends up backfiring in a major, major way - with the whole stinking Soros/deep state/media tricks/deception/crimes on full display.
That event was set up by the Nazi kids trying to find legitimacy by attaching themselves to an issue that regular people care about. They themselves do not give a damn about any statue. They are doing it to seek acceptance.
They tried it in a rally in Houston last month showing up with their Nazi flags, but were driven away by real conservatives. So this time they decided to advertise this event only in Nazi circles.

While I do not know if he has been charged yet, if he is tried for murder, I expect this picture to feature prominently in the defense. The car is not moving at speed, he looks like he's made a wrong turn and is faced with a not-so-friendly crowd blocking the street. He's about to hear a loud BANG from his car being struck, and the people closest to him, off the driver's corner, are masked and helmeted.
There will next be a presentation of the many violent acts perpetrated by the AntiFa types at Charlottesville . These are all over the place, despite the minimal play on the MSM.
Next there will be the argument "Members of the jury, my client saw himself being attacked, he had seen violent acts all day by people like those right outside his window, and he was familiar with the story of Reginald Denny. He will likely get reasonable doubt on a murder charge and a hung jury.
Sessions is an idiot for making a knee jerk assessment like that without having reviewed relevant facts about the situation. The idea that this was analogous to, say, the Nice attack, is ludicrous based on a very quick review of what went down. And see my previous post to you.

That’s why I said “likely”.
Given the climate right now, I wonder how many folks would be willing to be so “reasonable” knowing that their names might be released through social media. I don’t know, I just think that “likely” sounds awfully optimistic. (Geez, I’m getting so cynical)
