Intel CEO Brian Krzanich quits Trump's manufacturing council
CNBC ^ | August 14, 2017 | Nyshka Chandran

Posted on 08/14/2017 8:28:42 PM PDT by Pinkbell

Krzanich is the third executive to leave President Donald Trump's council in the span of a day — Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank and Merck CEO Kenneth Frazier both resigned earlier on Monday following the recent episode of white supremacist violence in Virginia.

"I resigned to call attention to the serious harm our divided political climate is causing to critical issues, including the serious need to address the decline of American manufacturing," Krzanich said in Monday's blog post.

"I have already made clear my abhorrence at the recent hate-spawned violence in Charlottesville, and earlier today I called on all leaders to condemn the white supremacists and their ilk who marched and committed violence," he continued.

"I resigned because I want to make progress, while many in Washington seem more concerned with attacking anyone who disagrees with them."

BK has the IQ of a turnip.
He is NOT well liked within Intel.
All by himself, he is destroying one of the USA’s finest companies.

WTF is this?

All the crony-capitalists must see something. They’ve decided they can no longer ignore the call of the deep state.

Do you think he has done things to signal that he wants their votes and support?

I’d love, welcome the opportunity to help president Trump MAGA. And it hardly serves Intel’s shareholders’ interests to walk off a presidential advisory council like this. It’s too bad these jobs always go to the little clique of the ruling elite - there are a lot of us regular Americans with good qualifications (just not elite positions since that’s pretty much a closed club anyway) who’d do excellent work for djt if ever given the chance Giving these posts to these ingrates is a waste, imho

Sorry, tho I agree with your comments in theory, you have no proof that they or their family were being threatened, and I think you give them waaaay too much benefit of the doubt.

None of them were Trump supporters, so I think it is just as likely that they just willingly decided Trump is too un-PC, don’t think they are going to get tax breaks, etc...Interesting how a group all left at same time. Just like a herd of them joined at the same time...None of them were Trump supporters during the campaign.

I don’t think Intel cares about US manufacturing...sorry, I know people who have worked for them...at the very least they are one of the most stressful tech companies to work for—and that is not my opinion, Forbes says so too...https://www.forbes.com/pictures/feki45egfmj/6-intel/#7c5a77026ee9

I think several of the CEOs bolted today because they are PC and did not want to be associated with the Trump administration.

Intel uses H-1Bs and was looking for a reason not to like Trump’s pro-American stance.

Our political climate today is no better than the Costa Nostra in it's dealings and just as nasty if not moreso......this because our politicians wear the masks of character and honor which isn't really there for most... They don't call Washington a cesspool for nothing.....they simply have ways and means to hide their corruption and get away with it, better than the guy in the street. ...The old saying “It pays who you know”...rings true every day in Washington..in politics overall. For all that... Trump winning the election and then carrying through the changes he wanted to make for this country has their pants in a knot because he's "changed the game entirely".....and they haven't a clue what next 'revenue flow' they're accustomed to scamming for themselves, is going to get cut. This is why the sanctuary cities are having hissy fits....nothing to do with illegals because they are simply the conduit that funnels the money to folks like Chicago's Rahm Emanuel and his thugs.

Maybe so....but it’s no secret lives are in danger when you don’t go along to get along for many when it matters the most.

Intel and others are simply doing what company and their CEOs do when there’s a change in ‘their climate for doing business’ that’s as broad as what Trump wants to make it. What hurt was Obamacare not getting repealed...companies have their hands tied to the tracks if they’re forced to insure employees as it’s written now....bottom line will always be payroll expenses eating up profits that might otherwise be used for expansions.

In business corporations where ‘effective’ leaders are chosen their politcal positions often matter least apart from those who “hype” up their positions. So I don’t think that plays heavily unless you’re either on the Global Agenda or not.

Yep. They’re fighting a war, whereas we don’t even realize, or don’t want to believe, there’s a war going on.

I will wager that a lot of these CEOs are coming under pressure from (fake) social media users aligned with Soros.

“The left wins because we’re p**sies. Plain and simple.”

Yep. They’re fighting a war, whereas we don’t even realize, or don’t want to believe, there’s a war going on.

The reason so many of these CEOs feel they have to loudly bandy about their “social justice virtues” is because they fear the SJW, Antifa, BLM mobs far more than they fear us.

Unless we find a way to make all these companies fear us more than they fear the leftist mobs, they’ll continue to kowtow to the left and kick us in the teeth.

For the most part companies are amoral and apolitical - their only morality and politics is whatever favors or threatens less their bottom line. The last thing they want is violent mobs descending upon them and playing havoc with their business.

The left is very good at employing this tactic, we’re not, we’re so bad at it, we don’t even qualify as amateurs.

The left probably has something on him BIG TIME.

Or the people in the circles that he runs in are giving him a hard time, to the point where he doesn't want to hear it anymore. The Left is in full dudgeon right now, although most of it is phony and calculated. This appears to be a Soros-funded production put on by the producers. Obama and Jarrett.

I sincerely hope you don’t advocate on behalf of white supremacists.

I’m more confused at the new moniker of white nationalist, wth is that?

And yes, black lives liars are filthy criminals as are antifa, or whatever their silly name is.

I will cast my votes against Frazier as CEO at the next MERCK stockholder meeting. I want rational people to lead a good company, not a spineless knee-jerk fool.
