Just one more instance of a trigger happy cop. Hope he’s convicted of murder.

You didn’t say the “first 3” anything in your initial complaint at #2. You said the victim was not named in the article when in fact he is ID’d, in addition to showing you the victims photograph.

Of course they shot the dog, he was a witness.

Yep. A man in my county was killed by police searching for drugs who had the wrong address. The family sued and was awarded several million dollars.

The solution is to remove LEO immunity to civil suit.and require, as a condition of employment, that LEOs must purchase malpractice insurance. If they cost the insurer more than the actuaries deem reasonable, they will be unemployable in law enforcement.

"cracked the front door just before he was shot."

Lesson #1: When the police knock, don't answer.

He probably cracked the door so the dog could not get out.

“Of course they shot the dog, he was a witness.”

That’s just wrong. After all, black labs matter.

So far I’ve seen no mention of body cam footage. These days, for “serving” a warrant like this, that alone should be enough for criminal charges against the police.

That was not all, he had a sign posted that said to be more afraid of owner than the dog with a man holding a big revolver on it. Suspect he was an Illegal, news has not mentioned that. Gun may have been illegal too.

OVER reaction, as this was a domestic violence arrest warrant.

The 16 yr old they shot, was ruled a righteous killing, body cam evidence showed they tried multiple times over to get the kid to drop the BB gun, which in the dark can’t be distinguished from a 9 MM. We own both, and in the dark you can’t tell the difference.

Cops who are afraid of citizens with guns should immediately resign if they serve in a state where citizens can carry.

exactly - let the free market work this out. Good Cops will see their preminuns drop to nothing.
