Gun violence typically breeds gun violence, because it’s cyclical and retaliatory, I stopped reading at that point.
I would submit to you, that almost every American who shot and/or killed a bad guy in self-defense, does not suddenly become "cyclical and retaliatory." My understanding is that they go through a range of emotions that does not generally include going Full Metal Jacket on the neighborhood.
