....Democratic presidential nominee Al Gore told HBO's Bill Maher he thinks he carried the state of Florida in 2000, a state that would have given Gore the presidency over George W. Bush.

Gore, 69, visited Maher on HBO's "Real Time" on Friday to discuss his follow-up climate change documentary "An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power" when the host broached the issue of rising sea levels.

I was in west Palm beach assisting with calling attention to all the pro George w bush supporters even in liberal Palm beach county. Amazing how quickly the media called Florida for Gore even when he didn’t actually win.

After it became clear to me that Trump had won, I happily went to bed around 10. I later talked to a good friend and he said he stayed up late before they finally admitted Trump had won.
