I would not be surprised at all to find out the entire Trump/Sessions “spat” was a collusion between the two in order to lay a big fat rabbit trail for the media.
Sessions in office yet?
OR Beauregard, is paying you YANKEES back for the war of Northern Aggression!
I hope you are correct. I am getting sick & tired of seeing crime after crime committed by the Dims while they are bringing Grand Juries against President Trump.
The Dims & Republicans both are licking their chops to take down Trump while Clinton is still free to roam the woods.
You are correct that cases can take a year or more to proceed to trial. Problem is they make an arrest and then the case takes forever due to legal wrangling. I have never seen any Prosecutor on any level, have enough evidence to indict yet wait a year just to arrest. Statue of Limitations stops running upon indictment.
There are reasons to wait until several cases can be consolidated. In this instance, both Comey and Hillary have made admissions of Criminal guilt on national television. It is on tape. They were not being questioned so there are no Miranda issues. Charge them with those crimes and keep working behind the scenes for other crimes. The first charges usually bring more cooperation from others involved.
It’s a race to impeach/overthrow Trump vs establishing the rule of law against Clinton/Obama/Soros coup. I am sickened to say our side has very little fight. What crimes are left to awaken the AG that something has to be done to save the rule of law along with the Republic? It’s scary to think our government is entrenched with Kenyan holdovers and Never Trumper scum who have an agenda to overthrow the government. Drain the swamp is one big campaign empty promise because the government is infested with Obama cockroaches who in essence are carrying out Obama’s third term and do the bidding of the Clinton shadow government.
You sir
Are right on the money
Trump plays the long long game and has the best attorneys on the planet
The news has to try and get attention
Right now the push is to get him to fire Mueller
If he did that he would be impeached regardless of that he would be right to do so
Look how the scum repubs passed a 100-0 vote leaving town to prevent him from recess appts
The swamp or sewer is very very deep and wide and there are many many pubs in it
In a court of law everything is different. When it gets there
“...the most impatient pack Ive remover seen.”
THANK YOU!
I’m so sick of the Sessions bashers. Particularly when they suggest he’s not qualified for his job. For heaven’s sake, the guy is the most qualified AG we’ve had in ages. He already WAS an AG - for Alabama. A good dependable Senator. A US Attorney. Etc.
Shheesh! We all just barely got done complaining about Holder, Lynch, Comey conducting mis-justice in public ... now we actually want Sessions to do the same stuff?
Ridiculously hypocritical.
Plus the guy has been absolutely fabulous in general regarding Trump’s #1 campaign goal: the crackdown on immigration issues. Rounding up gangs, fighting courts on illegals and generally scaring them into not coming in droves and some even ‘voluntarily deporting’. Taking it to the Sanctimonious Cities. Etc.
Now we are even looking at legal immigration reform.
We. Are. Winning.
Both on this front. And others. In large part because of Trump’s first and most loyal supporter: Sessions.
Who the hell thought we’d already be attacking Affirmative Racism on campus by now? Awesome.
We are potentially talking about putting even Congressmen and journalist on the stand and perhaps in jail over leaks now. This is great. Session is great. Yes, I know, not likely to get any Hill people into prison, but just the thought that we are looking into it should intimidate some of the leakers on the Hill.
Holy crap, if I was the General Kelly of FR I would fire a slew of these weak knees, pant peeing wussies who want to throw good folks like Sessions away.
These people, to me, are the Maxine Waters of the Right.
Thanks.
I'm in agreement with you.
lol, definitely not a legal scholar but we are not talking about things that are not obvious. How long does it take for someone to get arrested speeding, there is no 5 year hiatus of bs waiting to spring the trap, day by day, beat the hell out of the drums for justice..
but in a legal sense, i hope you are right..the alternative is the loss of our country, and really our opportunity to kick this pig is dwindling.
I don’t know what’s going on with so many freepers jumping ship on Sessions all of a sudden. For crying out loud, he is only one person with only so many hours in one day like anyone else, give him and his subordinates time to work!
Like you said; the wheel of justice moves very slow but it does move in a positive direction most the time. Couple that with the political angle and fall out from this and we could easily be looking at years before she is tried and convicted. There may even be a leftist President who pardons her at some point.
All we can do is hope for a grand jury indictment and then let the facts speak for themselves. Convicting an ex AG and ex President is no small thing.
That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.
*************
Blam: Sessions has been a U.S. senator for 20 years. Prior to that he was a U.S. attorney and the AG for the state of Alabama. There is no excuse for his foot dragging and missteps that have hurt Trump. Sessions is not a babe in the woods; he is a calculating politico just like everyone else in DC.
The reality is that people who spend a lot of time in DC become Swamp dwellers. They have developed friendships and engaged in many quid pro quo’s to get to where they are. A polite way to put it is to say that people like him are ‘ethically challenged’.
Another reality is that people like Sessions don’t work for the state they come from; they work for the DC establishment. They all get what’s known in DC as Potomac Fever. (look it up; Google shows over 400,000 results.)
Sessions is no exception. At best, he has mixed loyalties and dubious integrity. Washington is a club, and trust me, he’s a charter member.
Trump will fire Sessions before long. Just watch.
It’s not so stupid, who appointed you as arbiter of what can be said here? Why don’t you quit telling people what to say, and instead, if you disagree, tell them why. Blam!
Has anyone explained the purpose of the aliases? I will tell you what it means in a typical litigation setting. It means that when there is a subpoena, an IT person is asked to find all emails from a person on a subject, say Loretta Lynch and tarmac meeting, so they query the email database and fine all Loretta Lynch emails that mention “bill clinton”. They don’t find the Elizabeth Carlisle emails.
“You folks watch too many television court room dramas”
funny how quickly Mueller was able to impanel a grand jury.
I will support Trump in what he does right, that doesn't mean he should get a pass when he's not. No President should get a pass, period.
Grand Jury’s are damn near at the ready in most jurisdictions and take no time to impanel and something else you may not know they don’t require the burden of proof a jury requires to indict. This is not unusual. The unusual part is one was impaneled to begin with.
On this note you and I agree but again if the DOJ is doing just that 1) they aren’t going to tell anyone and 2) it’s going to take a great deal of time
