It would be very interesting if a Congress member was arrested when they are not in attendance or going to/from Congress. Entertaining, too.

Good luck getting that point across. It seems liberals aren’t the only ones who got their constitutional training from television.

The comments from the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press said that reporters had been responsible journalists re classified materials, etc.

Bullshit.

First of all, I was a card-carrying reporter/journalist for a major conservative weekly in DC for many years. You had to be approved by the DC Police Department for a Press Pass and you had to work for a legitimate publication.

This changed over time as more independent publications sprang up but lots of little leftist rags claimed that they had “journalists” who deserved Pass Passes, rights, etc.

Publications like “Fifth Estate” and Communist/Cuban asset Phil Agee’s “Cover Action Information Bulletin”, plus NACLA reports and others published “leaked” classified information whenever they got it, even if they knew it was stolen from the Government.

Their aim was to subvert the domestic security policies and foreign policies of the US in favor of the communists, period.

That is why the “Intelligence Agents Indentification Act” was passed despite serious attempts by Sen. Ted Kennedy to neuter it. Some of our CIA agents or people falsely accused of being CIA agents were attacked, (Welch was killed in Greece), or harassed to the point that they had to move to different jobs and out of potentially hostile cities/areas.

Phillip Agee and his gang of reds (Ray, Schaap, Wolf, etc) were responsible for most of these, thought the Organizing Committee for the Fifth Estate (founded and initially funded by Marxist Norman Mailer) did the pioneering exposure work on police intelligence officers and undercover agents.

Having known some of these people, and having been an undercover operative (yes, I got threats and avoided one ambush), I can say that they were enemies of the United States, most being some form of communist/Marxist, a few being druggies and psychos in their own right.

Other leftist groups published stolen materials from the military, given to them through the “coffeehouses” in the US and especially Japan (where the Soviet KGB and the Japanese Communist party worked on disgruntled U.S soldiers and sailors to get insider plans, etc.).

Some American newspaper published details of ship and air force movements of men and weapons, while others often gave away U.S. troop positions in South Vietnam (the NY Times altered a story by Joe Treaster, an honest reporter, back in NY that did just that. Treaster was seriously questioned by Pulitzer Prize winning writer/war correspondence Jim Lucas about this and Treaster said that his article was altered in NY. He was able to produce his original carbons for Jim to show that what he had written was NOT what was published from NY.

Some so-called “journalists” on the Left were actually knowingly aiding the VC/No. Vietnamese war efforts in SE Asia by spreading Hanoi and Soviet disinformation, parroting Hanoi’s “military claims”, and writing about things that either did not happen (i.e. massacres of civilians) or greatly exaggerated the few that did take place.

Look at the writing from Hanoi that said that the U.S. had deliberately bombed the dikes up there (Jane Fonda and Ramsay Clark, those great American journalist parroted this Hanoi line), had deliberately bombed the Bach Mai Hospital and civilian housing, poisoned rivers and streams with Agent Orange (nothing on Agent Purple, etc), and used poison gas in Laos (the CBS story on “Tail Wind” which turned out to be a complete fake).

Communists who used to write/report for CBS, NBC and possibly ABC, the New York Times and even the Washington Star, included KGB agent Wilfred Burchett (NY Times Op Ed Columns); Lionel Martin, Havana; Abullah Schlieffer, Israel; Charles R. Allen (used by ABC as a famous Nazi Hunter for one of their documentaries); Calvin Zon, Wash. Star (Socialist Workers Party); Richard Greenleaf, CPUSA, Capital Times or Madison Times, Wisc.; former 12 year member of the CPUSA Alden Whitman, NYT’s obituary writer who “wrote well of the left dead”, according to the CPUSA itself (Political Affairs) which implied that they had fed him all the positive, coverup materials (examples Paul Robeson and Hugh Mulzac’s glowing obits), etc.

There are others still writing for major publications.

Not every reporter is a decent, hardworking, pro-America person. IT only takes a couple of bad apples to spoil a barrel, and we have a lot of “bad apples” in today’s media.
These leftists are out to demoralize, undermine, subvert and destroy America despite what the Freedom of the Press committee claims.

If they did a little vetting of their own people, they’d see how many security threats they have amongst themselves.

We need to completely revamp our vetting systems for members of Congress (at least 70 reds of differing shades in it right now) and their staffs; for journalists who have certain types of access to government agencies/White House; and to those who have serious connections to subversive organizations and individuals, esp. the Cubans.

IT is time to take off the blinders of liberalism and face the real world. A real house-cleaning is needed in almost every major American institution from A - Z (Academia, Journalism, the Media and Politics, among others).

Hate to burst everybody’s bubble, but even IF they are found out, not a damn thing will happen to them. Zip, zilch, nada.

See, when you belong to “The Club” you never have to worry about punishment for your actions. Ever. For more proof see entire Obama regime.

Praying for God’s mercy on USA, and NOT return Graham or McCain to Senate...ever! Only replace in primaries with real Conservatives to protect people!
