They did pass a law. It's called 18 U.S. Code § 793. That's the section that should put Hillary in jail for the rest of her unnatural life. I don't see why it wouldn't apply to congressional swamp creatures as well.

Some just can’t get over this fact and I repeat the same wherever I see Gowdy being trashed. His job is to subpoena, summon and question and nothing more. Not prosecute, not try, not judge, not sentence. He did such a thorough job that even a first year prosecutor had a slam dunk case but you nailed it! Not under a Democrat DOJ. But hey let’s not mess with those silly little constitutional role thingies....just keep slamming cause it’s so coooool and the in thing to do
Article I, Section 6 if I have it right:
They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.
So if leaking classified information is a felony, they're toast.
(Despite the long-standing gentleman's agreement to let leaking go, up until now.)
As Glenn Beck (Instapundit) says, the left has been so eager to tear down the rules, but they won't be so happy living in the new no-rules world they made.
