Orlando Sentinel reports:

Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz defiantly stands by her decision to keep an information technology aide on her payroll for six months after he was banned from the House network and fired by other members of Congress.

“I believe that I did the right thing, and I would do it again,” Wasserman Schultz said Thursday in an exclusive interview with the Sun Sentinel. “There are times when you can’t be afraid to stand alone, and you have to stand up for what’s right.

“It would have been easier for me to just fire him,” she said.

The Weston Democrat did fire Imran Awan last week after he was arrested on bank fraud charges at an airport while trying to leave the country.

As the former Democratic National Committee chairwoman, Wasserman Schultz is the most prominent Democrat who employed Awan. Her decision to keep employing Awan has been under fire from her Democratic primary challenger, Republicans and multiple conservative websites. They’ve suggested Wasserman Schultz is hiding something and the Awan matter is much more serious than she’s letting on...

Huh? She DID fire him ... eventually. Her statement makes no sense.

You can always count on Democrats to take the side of non-Americans first.

Cracked me up when I heard her say that she “had to look myself in the mirror...”

That alone is harsh punishment. Not enough, but close.

I always knew DWS didn't have a conscience.

BTW, has anyone noticed that NONE of the Deep State players have gone to jail? SESSIONS NEEDS TO GO AFTER COMEY BECAUSE HE MORE THAN ANYONE IS THE REASON ALL OF THE DEEP STATE'S CRIMES OVER THE PAST 4 YEARS HAVEN'T BEEN EXPOSED AND PROSECUTED. Yeah I know, the crimes go back further than that, but Comey was appointed in 2013.

“I would do it again”

Why Debbie?

It's reported that you were paying him about 3 times the usual pay for someone in his position.

Why did you overpay him by such a large amount? (with taxpayer money of course)

It's reported that you intended to continue paying him as an employee even after his planned departure from the US to reside in Pakistan.
(you were going to pay him with taxpayer money of course)

Why did you intend to keep him on the books as an employee after he left the job, left the US and was living in Pakistan?

What did he have on you or what was he doing for you to justify those actions?

Was it blackmail for the dirt he had on you and the DNC or was he providing some personal service to you?

“I Would Do It Again”

Of course she would. Dems never get into trouble for breaking laws, so they're free to keep on breaking more laws.

"the crimes go back further than that, but Comey was appointed in 2013. "

Collusionist Mueller was Comey's predecessor. We could start with him.
