FIRE THEM FRICKIN' ALL, RIGHT NOW! What's so hard about that? Can't do that. Then they would not be able to go on Fox and Friends and state the obvious.
They might get some real government questions that take brain power to answer.

Why is anyone in the communications department a holdover?? They know the password to the equipment.
Why do you think they chased down Awan. Not for being illegally in DC and stealing secret information but he is the only one that has admin privileges, can reset passwords and knows how to operate the coffee pot.

Get rid of them all. Not easy, given civil service laws. But you can suspend them with pay, revoke security clearances "pending investigation", or totally exclude them on the organizational chart until many quit in anger. Those who remain would be shut out of the decision-making process.
