Washington is ‘much worse than anyone ever thought’: Trump
NY POST ^ | July 24, 2017 | Yaron Steinbuch

President Trump suggested Monday that his anti-government corruption mantra of “draining the swamp” already needs an overhaul.

“Drain the Swamp should be changed to Drain the Sewer – it’s actually much worse than anyone ever thought, and it begins with the Fake News!” the president tweeted.

“After 1 year of investigation with Zero evidence being found, Chuck Schumer just stated that ‘Democrats should blame ourselves, not Russia,’” he added in a separate tweet.

During an appearance on ABC’s “This Week,” Schumer discussed the Democrats’ new economic agenda, which he said they would present Monday.

“The No. 1 thing that we did wrong is we didn’t tell people what we stood for,” Schumer said.

Trump’s tweets came shortly after his son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner released a statement ahead of his closed-door testimony to a Senate committee probing Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election and any possible collusion by Trump associates.

A couple of hours later, Trump continued his tweet storm about the Russia investigation, asking why the congressional panels probing Russia aren’t examining Hillary Clinton’s role.

Some of us here thought it might be a good idea to have someone who understood how bad Washington was.

Some of thus thought some experience fighting the swamp might be a good idea.

We were mocked, insulted, called vicious names, told we were stupid, traitors, RINOs, etc.

We put up with an ungodly torrent of lies.

I am quite glad Trump has learned better. Not from schadenfreude; I wish him every success in his endeavors, now. Simply because the fact that he is aghast at Washington means he was always ignorant but sincere, rather than duplicitous.

He’ll learn.

My in-laws would vote for Hitler if there was a “D” after his name. And they are Jewish.

Yes. It is much worse.

President Trump has proven this by opposing the corruption of Washington and the Ruling Establishment and forcing them to expose themselves in all their evil.

President Trump, an honest man exposing the evil and corruption, has been fought, challenged, insulted, and threatened by the evil Ruling Establishment in every conceivable way, including calls for his assassination.

The evil and the extent of the corruption have exposed themselves in response to President Trump's challenge and have erupted into raw hatred, fury, and murderous rage, the magnitude of which is a measure of the very evil and corruption challenged.

Pray for this good man!

Pray that he will succeed in eradicating this evil and saving the USA and the world from it.

Pray that the American People will continue their support of him and will remain with him on the side of the Angels.

"Trump was apparently too optimistic about the Political culture/creatures of DC. For a smart guy he had not been paying close attention to the available lessons of the recent past."

But what sane and honest person could have imagined or even comprehended the extent of evil and corruption in Washington and the Ruling Establishment?

It was like trying to comprehend the evil and corruption of Hitler and the Nazis before they came to power. Honest and sane people could not imagine it. Even now, in retrospect, we struggle to comprehend it.

It has been said that the true criticism of Neville Chamberlain is that he could not imagine a man like Hitler or a party like the Nazis. I think that's true.

It's the same with the evil and corruption that President Trump has challenged.

Who could have imagined it? Who would have believed it? Who can comprehend it now?

Millions of decent Americans and people abroad refuse to believe it!

GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! AND GODSPEED!

In the last Presidential election, all the Liberals were running around like wild men/women as if they were in a contest to outdo one another. Each one of them was shooting off his/her mouth telling their own personal and favorite pack of lies!

Chuckie is saying that in the meantime, they failed to get together and craft ONE specific, viable lie that would work for everyone! :)

It's because they were all SO sure that Evita was going to win and that they could say and do each as he pleased, without any oversight either from the MSM or the DNC. Everyone thought he/she had a blank check and all the time in the world. They ran amok and behaved like children in a classroom when teacher steps out! They still are.

They may yet JFK him. At the present time, they are attempting to dispose of him [and us] peacefully, or at least, bloodlessly. It is only when they see for themselves that can’t dispose of him peacefully or bloodlessly that they will resort to the JFK method. But, make no mistake, if they decide that the JFK method is their only alternative, they will noy hesitate to use it.
