Greenland turns against Mother Gaia

We've all heard it endlessly: the Arctic ice is melting. It will soon be open water, and the surrounding islands bare rock. The Northwest Passage, which lured hundreds to their doom during the Age of Exploration, will at last be a reality. The polar bears will go hungry. Eskimo shamans will no longer be able to contact the Ice Goddess. Manhattan and Long Island will soon be fifty miles offshore...

And so on, certainly one of the most dominant and persistent memes of the global warming movement, despite its not containing so much as an ounce of truth.

The latest evidence for of this fact comes to us from Denmark. With a consuming national interest in Greenland going back to the beginning of the last millennium, the Danes have kept careful watch on the weather and surface conditions of the island. Their most recent findings definitively reveal no large-scale ice loss on Greenland. Quite the contrary: Greenland is piling massive tonnages of ice as if there's no tomorrow – not to mention no such thing as global warming.

Yeah, right. In order to offset this, gaia has just dumped an ice cube the size of Kong island (or someplace) off of Antarctica. Take that Greenland.

At the beginning of the last millennium, Vikings were raising cattle in Greenland. It was called the Medieval Warm Period, that two- or three-centuries long block of time that the IPCC wanted to "get rid of" as stated in their leaked e-mails. By the way, it's still to cold to raise cattle in Greenland. I hear there are some sheep farms, but no cattle.

Dear Greenland,

It’s 91 in Michigan today. Send ice!

Greenland has a record amount of snow and ice. That news is not to be seen on the msm.

"an ice cube the size of Kong island (or someplace) off of Antarctica"

Nope. Floating ice doesn't count.

First of all why are you hammering on Global Warming. It is Climate Change. Man is causing that. You cannot prove that he is not causing it. So man must quit changing the climate because any change may be bad. You cannot prove that change is not bad. Thus in the face of unproveable uncertainty man must do something since that is better than doing nothing. You cannot disapprove that assertion either.

Logic, reasoning, and philosophy made possible by taxpayers like you and the public education system.

You left off a sarcasm tag!

Not just Man causing it, animals are doing much more harm. Cow farts alone pollute the atmosphere more than human farts. We need to kill all the animals to save the planet. (There, liberal thinking!)

True but look at all the billions transferred to 3rd world hellholes by people like Al Gore - shouldn't that count for something?

Only livestock farts are bad. Wild animal farts are good. Thus man is to blame.

Actually, a Delaware sized chunk of ice shelf broke off. It was never on land and did not crash into the water, as the warmists would have you believe. And as it floats away, the open water behind it will freeze and maybe reattach it, making the largest southern polar ice coverage ever recorded! That story will go unreported.
