University of Chicago Professor: Infanticide Is Morally Acceptable
National Review ^ | July 19, 2017 | Jeff Cimino

Posted on 07/20/2017 6:47:42 AM PDT by C19fan

Jerry Coyne, a professor in the department of ecology and human evolution at the University of Chicago, recently posted a defense of killing disabled infants on his Why Evolution Is True blog: If you are allowed to abort a fetus that has a severe genetic defect, microcephaly, spina bifida, or so on, then why aren’t you able to euthanize that same fetus just after it’s born?

Expanding on Professor Dipshit’s central thesis, why not extend euthanasia to mental defectives... like, for example, the professor.

If this is acceptable, where does it end?

At least he’s being consistent.

The idea is exactly what pro life people have been mocked for believing: killing a baby in the womb is no different than killing it outside the womb. Both are murder.

His corrupt mind sees both as acceptable when the child is “less than perfect”. Demonic, IMO.

Nothing new. See Peter Singer, among others.

Merely a predictable return to the pagan morality at the beginning of Western Civilization. The interlude of Biblical morality is over in most of the West.

I think we should try it out on the professor first, then on Senator McCain second. Its obvious McCain has no more sentience than a shallow mud puddle on a hot Arizona day.

If there is no moral outrage, them I guess its ok.

Hey guess what? Killing University academics is morally acceptable too!

I just declared it, so it must be so.

I'm genuinely confused.

Currently, people are allowed to abort a healthy baby if they consider the baby to be inconvenient. I believe Madonna aborted a child because she was about to go on tour and didn't choose to be pregnant at that time.

So, if you are allowed to abort a fetus for any reason, then why aren't you allowed to kill your kids when they annoy you?

I believe a French magazine from thirty years ago suggested killing of new born infants as it was easier than abortions.

But then, the ancient Greeks exposed unwanted children to the elements to die. Others just sacrificed them to pagan idols or broke their necks.

Hard to believe such evil exists.

How about a retroactive abortion for the professor?

Ghoul.
