FWIW I saw a strong statement of support from VP Pence on twitter yesterday for the President.
Honestly I think people should calm down a bit. His office is trying to deflect questions - that’s not a bad thing given the circumstances - there’s no point in opening another front on this war, or at least that is their logic rightly or wrongly.
Pence spends a lot of time with Trump.
Assuming that FR is made up of people that know how to think before emoting is mistake number 1.
