Shiva Ayyadurai, an Indian-American who is running for the GOP Senate nomination in the state, made the remark on Fox Business's "Varney & Co." while discussing his bid.
“Well, I think only a real Indian can defeat a fake Indian,” Ayyadurai said.
The Republican candidate said he previously sent Warren a DNA test kit on her birthday and was “very sad” when she decided to return the gift.
“But I’m looking forward to going against Warren. You know, I know how these elites work. I know I can defeat her,” he said.

I think this is part of a trend. Fake politics (ever so successful in the past twenty years)...has drawn enough public interest to get unusual political figures to run and possibly win. Trump is one example. Kid-Rock came up yesterday in conversation (running in Michigan). I think there will at least ten more non-political types coming out by 2020 and running mostly off a social-media campaign. I can think of at least two retired NFL quarterbacks who could easily mount a campaign. I think even Kanye West could run a House seat in California and easily win.
