The only option here is to start shooting down their missile tests and let Japan go nuclear. If NK responds by attacking South Korea, we will then be cleared to wipe them out. If they don’t respond militarily, the Japanese nukes will force China’s hand to cut them off finally.

To be clear, I'm not advocating appeasement. What I AM advocating is what worked on the Soviet Union, who were MUCH more of a threat than floppy disk boy here.

Timing, and the planning of the timing of the attack (right down to the very second that each 'tool' is launched) ... is critical.

FIRST, We take out their satellites.
Second, we zap them with EMP Cruise Missiles, radar jamming and chaff.
Then the all out strike begins.
Kim Jong-un gets a MOAB suppository.
Then we launch every aircraft in the region that's supersonic, including South Korea's fighters and bombers, to cross into North Korea from all directions, to overfly low level at Mach One PLUS, to bust every piece of glass in North Korea.
Then we firebombs the place to ashes.
The only real transportation system North Korea has is the railroads, so they get blown to smithereens. and that's just the start of day one.

As a matter of fact it IS widespread. There are thousands of dogmeat farms, and the month long festival is a nonstop barbaric killing field of over ten thousand dogs in brutal and inhumane ways. You just missed it as it begins next week.
It is important to not just take things as you see them in a mere two week visit and make judgements based on your tourist time.
Here are some videos of one large dog meat farm and their sadism and barbaric culture. I will say this again, if Chia Head takes them out, I just may consider celebrating. Their culture is an aberration of humanity.
Hating cruelty toward innocent and helpless creatures is not something that I find to be damaging to the soul, but rather spiritually healthy. Enjoy!

SCUD range is only about 500-600 miles and the accuracy on them is not great. I still see NK as China’s problem. We don’t want to get sucked into two or three party talks with them which is what they want. Demanding goodies for good behavior that never lasts is what NK is up to.
