IMO anyone who pulls out the privilege card in the course of a discussion ain’t worth being friends with any longer. That movement has become completely toxic. And I have cut off contact with two former friends who tried to pull that number on me. It’s their way of saying my concerns do not matter one bit, and real friends don’t do that to each other.
