I heard him play at Royals Stadium in KC back in the late 1970s.
I didn't go to the concert, but I was outside at my house, nearly 12 miles away. That was the concert that got him banned from playing outdoor concerts in KC. The rumor was that simply having 8 Fender amps behind him wasn't enough (check out the cover of "Ted Nugent," 16x12" speakers, 16x15" speakers,) and he got someone at the stadium to add the stadium PA to the concert PA as well.
