I’m back. Had to head out to the store for stuff and thought I’d never get out of there. Too many people with their carts piled full and too few cashiers.

Well I started off reading some of the stuff about the GA election, then remembered I needed to hit Wally World tonight since I didn’t get to go this afternoon.
I doubt the tropical storm had anything to do with the people who were there tonight. It was just one of those nights.
We’ll get some rain this weekend but nothing too serious. I HOPE we’ll get some rain out of it at least.

Hope you do get some rain! Your corn will thank the heavens if it does! I want some...after this window over my head is repaired. LOL! Hubby can’t even GET an estimate till next Wed. when he has to go to the football stadium with all the other hundreds who are in the same situation. Crazy stuff!
I was tickled too. That race was just too much like what we went through here last year. Fortunately, the results were good on both counts. :-)
I hope the rain will clear a little of the corn pollen out of the air for a couple of days. It’s goin’ to town right now and wearing out our sinuses. But it’s so pretty with the tassels and the silks.
Oh MAN! He has to go to the football field to get the estimate?? That sux big time. He’s certainly looking forward to that. NOT!! I hope the temps back off so all those folks aren’t stuck out there in scorching heat.
I hope it’s not too hot, too. There are going to be a lot of crabby people even without the heat to take it up a notch! At least at that time, he can get a rental car so he won’t be stuck here at the house while i’m out of town that weekend. LOL!
Oh, man! Reading about the corn pollen! *aaah-CHOO*! I hope you get enough rain to settle it so you can actually breathe again...you two and the kitties who are allergic, too!
