The USGS has not been reporting a lot of earthquakes lately. I have been following earthquakes around the world for the last 6 months and can tell you the USGS is playing at hiding earthquakes. If you go and see the actual Yellowstone seismographs(which there are several) you will see hundreds of earthquakes at 2.0 or more that USGS has decided to ignore. I actually think this article has been weak in their count but I am surprised they even wrote it.
Now if they all happened at one time.....

You are absolutely right. I follow quakes and have been told by those who watch closely that many MANY are left off USGS.
Their going to happen even if USGS ignores them!!

Have you checked the Wyoming State Geological Survey’s website? The WSGS also tracks earthquakes.

There will be, no doubt at all, a supervolcano again above the current Yellowstone caldera. But we are still still many thousands of centuries before a “super” volcano eruption is likely - The dome needs to refill, expand many thousand feet higher than its current “valley” (the caldera) in elevation to create the conditions for the multi-state region-wide supervolcano of this article.
The local volcanic refill is happening: that is typical of these mini-quakes of low magnitude earthquakes. And, one of more of the refills could erupt. But not likely, and not for many thousand years yet to come.
Nah. I-35 would be under construction.
