Comey and Mueller are attempting a coup and the weenies Trump appointed to DOJ are just letting it happen.
Anyone in the administration should take the Fifth if subpoenaed to testify to a grand jury, no matter how innocent they are. What can happen? Scooter Libby, Exhibit A.

I'm afraid that another civil war will produce another Booth, too.
But the bullet Booth fired was followed by the victory of those he opposed.

Trump needs to tweet the definition of sedition. No context, no names, no threats, just the word and the definition.

We are going to have to try and primary and beat every single GOp Swamp critter asap. Then we have to find a way to neuter lobbyists.

According to reports this week, the investigation is now looking into potential obstruction of justice charges against the President an idea that legal scholars on both sides of the aisle have dismissed as ridiculous and even more out of left field, for evidence of financial crimes committed by the President and his associates. They are going to keep slinging s#!t until something sticks. Then the LSM will proclaim Trump to be the most corrupt president since Grant and demand impeachment, then drawing and quartering.
Make no mistake, the LSM is the ringleader of this campaign. It is designed to keep the public's eyes off the real criminal enterprise, the klintoons and the dimorats.

Better a civil war now when our guy is the CiC than if/when an American-hating commie (ie Democrat) is in the oval office

Another one of Muellers hires, Andrew Weismann, has a record of overzealous prosecution and charges of unethical behavior. As leader of the Enron Task Force, Weissman faced charges for allegedly intimidating witnesses and hiding evidence that would have helped the defense. The criminal case he prosecuted against the accounting firm Arthur Anderson was overturned 9-0 by the Supreme Court because it found the company had committed no crime. Sadly, it was too late to save the 85,000 jobs that were lost due to Weismanns lust to prosecute. Shut it down, Mr. President. Your base will support you in this, and we don't give a fig what the media would say about it. Neither should you.

So you're suggesting that we should sacrifice Trump in some Lincolnesque way, to achieve some larger goal? Shouldn't we plan in a way that assumes that Trump remains to oversee the conclusion?

Bannon is correct.
Not only does innocence not count in DC, the same cretins turn a blind eye to guilt!

Trump doesn't need to fire anybody.
First, he can preemptively announce that he will instantly pardon anyone who is indicted by Mueller.
Second, as Chief of Executive Officer of the Justice Department, Trump should order that 100% of the evidence gathered during the Russia investigation, and later gathered by the Special Prosecutor, should be instantly released to the public.
Third, he can offer to pardon any Democrat caught up in the Clinton scandals, and also offer to release 100% of the evidence in those cases.
To: Political Junkie Too
No, you suggested that, not I.
I simply told you what followed in regards to your comment about the civil war producing another Booth. You can plan for anything you please. And of course we’d hope for Trump’s safety and survival, regardless of your prediction.

The republicans, if they were true to thier mission and even if they werent a trumpite would say to themselves, “we can build on this and eventually get a more equitable satisfying place after 4 or 8 years leaving the rats in the dust bin. BUT! we can see that thier mission is very much like thier friends across the isle and do not have our best interest and after we gave them the senate the house and the presidency they still refuse to do the peoples work. We need to replace these cretans who obstruct trumps mission when it is time to vote

We are going to have to try and primary and beat every single GOp Swamp critter asap. Then we have to find a way to neuter lobbyists. Move the "leaders" out of Washington. Make them legislate from their home districts. Working in a glass office on Main Street, where the public can see them might, just might, make them more responsive to their constituents wishes.
It won't make lobbyists disappear but it might make them less effective.
