Paul Nehlen, a Republican businessman from Wisconsins first congressional district, has just launched his 2018 congressional campaign against the anti-Donald Trump House Speaker Paul Ryan.
This is the second time Nehlen is challenging Ryan, after coming up short in the 2016 GOP primary in Wisconsins first congressional district.
"Speaker Ryan didnt help Mr. Trump defeat Hillary Clinton, and even pledged not to defend the president, Nehlen said in his announcement. But I have a message for Speaker Ryan: The American people are not done fighting for President Trumps good agenda. Thats why I am announcing my second challenge to Paul Ryan for the nomination in Wisconsins first congressional district.

It’s smart of Nehlen to announce his candidacy early to have time to raise money and get more name recognition, as well as to force Speaker Ryan to better represent his (R+5) district and back President Trump rather than sabotaging or sitting around with his thumb hidden in his posterior.
Mr. Speaker, will you side with the President, a member of your political party who wants to Make America Great Again or will you side with the swamp? Being in leadership you do not have the luxury of voting ‘present’.
I gave some big chunks of buckage his way when he pretended to primary Ryan last year. No more. What makes it bad is that he has a lot of Trump’s addresses, and he’s been using this list to try to raise moolah for all sorts of causes since.
Charlatan.
What were the numbers in the primary? I’m of the mind that Ryan’s district is hopeless. When I looked at the map I realized it is part of Chicago sprawl. It’s more Chicago than it is Wisconsin. Maybe if President Trump lent his support.
Hey Paul: How much $$$ did you get from Soros?
I take it you mean Paul Sora$$ Ryan.
“We did not remove Cantor on the first try, but we got him on then second. Try, try again.”
Excellent point, and while Ryan p*sses me off to no end, I remain unconvinced that Nehlen is the guy that can beat/replace him.
I find it hard to believe that Wisconsin can’t find one other Conservative candidate in Ryan’s district, who can EASILY ride on the coattails of Governor Scott Walker (who WILL win re-election) to run against Ryan.
Believe me, Wisconsin has its share of entrenched RINO politicians too, who don’t want to work ANY harder than they have to, to help America succeed. :(
I live 20 miles from Janesville where Ryan is from. To me and others that I know this 15% doesn't add up. Who knows what was done for one worlder Ryan for this improbable vote outcome.
Nehlen can run on the lack of tax cuts etc. Ryan can’t hide behind Obama now. Everyone in leadership needs a challenger IMO
Where do I donate?
I plan to send him some money.
People are reluctant to remove a powerful congressman. And Ryan gives them lots of lip service during campaign, almost sounds like he cares.
Yes, everyone forgets about Flake running, keep the pressure on. Love to see McCain have to deal with Dr Ward as his Co-Senator representing AZ.

More conservatives need to get involved in working at the polls, either as election judges and clerks, or by being poll watchers and challengers. Make it impossible for either branch of the Uniparty to steal the election through fraud.
Please oh please Wisconsin voters...get rid of Ryan will ya.
Almost makes me want to move to that district for a short time in 2018. Sort of voting with my feet.
Twichy
Here’s You guy.
