Even if the original debt-holder sold the debt, there would be no debt for the purchaser to collect if they weren’t collecting funds that the target owed to the original debt-holder. This looks like a big biz giveaway.
Bleeding the U.S. Treasury for personal and political gain is the crime that should be investigated. It is time to shut down the Special Counsel and use these funds for the public good, not lawyer enrich and empowerment.
He may not have committed a crime but those who will decide will make sure of it.

The Junk Debt business is so rife with fraud that Congress should do something about it.
Debt gets sold off pretty quickly. Then come the vultures who don’t have to follow the law and can make someone’s life a living hell.

Obviously, criminal investigation take place AFTER a crime has been committed to isolate the guilty parties. In this Russian collusion case, most Americans know that a crime was committed per a US Russian connection buy the Obozo, AG Lynch (her cover up) and the Clintons but instead, Trump and crew are being investigated to SEE if a crime was committed. Obviously the fix is in and Mueller, Comey and company will manufacture a crime in order to remove Trump from the WH, per the ruling elite establishment’s orders of course. The days of truth (the final straw) are upon this country. I presume we’ll see what the American patriots are prepared to do to keep their country. For all of those who are in official public service positions, the coming event resulting from this inside establishment coup will certainly separate the patriots from those who just do as they are told.

Right, except there have been a lot of laws passed re: debt collection. What the SC apparently just did is say that none of those laws pertain if the collection agency has bought the debt. IMO it takes a willfully twisted reading of the language to come to Gorsuch’s conclusion that the debt collection laws don’t pertain in such cases.

Taxpayers would like to know:
Who in the senate authorized the hiring?
What are their individual rates of pay?
What is their employment term?
Are benefits included and what are they?
What employment-related expenses are covered? (car/flights/meals, etc)
What are the political affiliations of each hire?
What area specifically are each assigned to?
How many support staff per hire? what are their rates of pay, benefits, perks, etc?
Trump has the sharpest legal counsel, complete with skilled research staff, available.
He can afford to wait for this faux investigation to creep along for an extended time before launching a counter attack. He’s probably smiling in his sleep.
When this is over, Mueller and Comey and Co won’t be able to get hired at a 7-11 store.
