He won’t stay in the pocket...the minute he feels pressure, he takes off like a scared chicken. If you don’t stay in the pocket, you can’t go through your receiver progressions. And the few times he does stay in the pocket, he can’t read the defense. People always use his low interception rate, but it’s low because he always takes off. He nevers stays in a throwing stance for more than a second, then he pulls the ball down and starts dancing.
He is not a starting NFL QB and he’s too crazy after the snap to run any set plays,so the whole game plan goes out the window. Coaches want a backup that can run the same offense that the starting QB runs and he is incapable of doing that.
And with all that, you have to worry about him tearing apart the locker room. If the Seahawks didn’t want him, and they have a very mobile starting QB in Wilson, why would you expect any other team to want him.
His career is over in the NFL...let him go play in Mexico!!!
That’s quite a fair argument. National anthems and the direct participation of the military are quintessentially acts of a political nature.
I say, feel free to reconstitute and fully privatize the organization; removing the word “National” from their name, and eschewing all public funds. I don't think anyone will be happy with the result (except non-football-loving taxpayers). But hey, the resulting companies will be free to politicize or not politicize things with only the owners, boards & shareholders to be accountable to.

Showing respect for one’s country is not a political act. At least, it never was in a country where people from both political parties equally loved the US.
Only in a country where a huge portion of the population does not love the country and refuses to show respect for it could the playing of the national anthem be considered a political act.
If that’s the country leftists like you have created, it’s more important that ever to play the anthem every opportunity there is, in order to, if for no other reason, identify potential enemies of the state.
Do you understand that this claim stands in direct contradiction to the definition of the word "political"? It's mind blowing that someone would seriously assert otherwise. Just because you like it doesn't mean it isn't political. Of course it is. Anything concerning government is absolutely, inherently political.
If you can't see this then you've gone down the liberal rabbit hole of redefining common English words so as to completely change their meaning.
I’ve seen A-10s and C-130s buzz a stadium. They dont let many folks play with F16s in my neck of the woods.
The national anthem is now political? Those who object to it on those grounds are free to go elsewhere, and stay there!

The NFL is honoring tradition and being respectful to the people of this country. By whining about it ESPN is injecting politics.
