Mueller adds muscle for Russia investigation
Axios ^ | June 11, 2017 | Mike Allen

Posted on 06/11/2017 2:30:13 PM PDT by be-baw

"The Worst Thing That Happened to Donald Trump this Week" — Paul Rosenzweig, on the Lawfare blog: Special counsel "Robert Mueller has hired Michael Dreeben, on a part-time basis, to help with his investigation. Dreeben, a deputy in the Office of the Solicitor General, has argued more than 100 cases before the Supreme Court. His specialty has, for the last 20 years, been criminal matters and he has an encyclopedic knowledge of criminal law."

Be smart: Mueller is amassing the talent arsenal you'd build to bring criminal charges.

The bottom line, we truly need an ultra tough attack dog special prosecutor and hard core investigation, with the authority to go after all the actual law breakers, and to broadcast to the nation the actual high crimes and misdemeanors they are guilty of.

It appears this is the ONLY path left, without an actual civil war being initiated by the pervasively immoral left.

Even if it nets individuals in the uniparty with conspiracy and likely much worse crimes, then it only becomes that much more important. And they cannot allow them opportunity to exorcise their lying emotional rhetoric. This will require a hard nosed efficient investigation.

This absolutely needs to happen NOW.

I believe AG Sessions only recused himself from the “Russian” side of the equation.

This NEEDS to happen NOW, or the deep-state enemy of our country within our own government will continue to act to take down the entire administration and their critical appointments, including Sessions himself.

The Justice Department itself, without a choice, is already having to spend enormous resources in the battle to take down this administration. It will in short order be paralyzed and even work against Sessions and Trump unless it becomes clear there are going to be actual investigation and prosecutions of those who are actually guilty of breaking the law, including politicians and their high level henchmen.

Being it was the Dems and their president who actually acted and colluded to subvert national security, violate our Constitution, and subvert the will of the electorate, even to the point of possible murder, (aside from the Russians and every other enemy country which has attempted to impact our election for decades [like with ChinaGate]), if they get away with this, trampling and mutilation of our Constitution and eradicating a properly elected president, **a true coup d’état**, our nation will fall over night to the new global socialist sovereigns! And they will never give it up!

If we don’t go to war now, with the efforts underway to destroy our Constitution, we will lose everything!

“What if they are going after Clinton?”

Diane Feinstein notwithstanding I don’t think they’re going after Clinton. I believe they are all out to sabotage Trump. I hope I’m wrong.

I was surprised and appalled to find out that Comey cleared his testimony with Muellar in advance. I was also surprised (and not sure I believe) that Sekulow is officially part of Trump’s legal team. You’ll probably get tired of hearing this from me, but Trump is surrounded by assassins. There never should have been a special counsel appointed here. There is nothing positive to be had from it. Many others have commented on the close relationship between Comey and Muellar.

Trump should be pissed about Sessions recusing himself from the Russian probe. Maybe his testimony to Congress in the coming week will share some light on why he felt compelled to do so. I know he had a meeting or 3 with the Russian Ambassador, but not sure there was any there there.

Someone’s hide will be had here. Probably Manafort, maybe Flynn, maybe Page, maybe Kushner. Whatever Muellar comes up with, and it won’t be nothing, it will be bad news for Trump. Look for the first hat to drop before the 2018 mid-term elections. A big prize would be Kushner or Sessions, if they want to try to significantly influence the outcome of the HOR elections. I think the Trump base will maintain the GOP majority and I still think it possible the GOP majority in the election could increase, but I may very well be indulging in wishful thinking.

Mueller’s fishing expedition is nothing but Banana Republic corruption.

Rosenstein and his buddy Comey did nothing of the sort to go after the Clinton’s, who richly deserve it and should have disappeared from the scene after Billy left office.

The fact is that Mueller’s mission should be the tipping point for a civil war.

Why? Because his mission is to make sure that no one from outside the Uniparty insiders ever takes power in the United States again.

The voters be damned, they will not be allowed to have any influence over those who designate themselves as our masters.

There is no Russian “collusion”. Russia, the U.S., France, Germany, China and Burundi ALL interfere in each other’s affairs to their own advantage if they can get away with it and do so routinely. If they weren’t, their intel agency heads would be fired - that’s their job. Nobody needs to tell them to do it.

And it’s not a crime to expose a crime...specifically Hillary’s crimes. On the contrary, you should get a medal if you do.

The fact that Mueller is taking on this role shows he has already taken a side. No honest person would have touched it, especially not someone who should have recused himself.

He and his buddies want to dump our last and best hope?

That’s the sort of thing that starts civil wars.

“Sessions needed to be able to focus on the contents of Comey’s office in order to give smoking guns to all the other deep-state cases he’s building. He knew Russia would go nowhere”.

I would certainly hope that you were right and I was wrong on this one. My only question would be why has Sessions waited THIS LONG to say anything?

Do you think it has succeeded? Or will succeed?

Given the leaks, stays from the judicial branch, and not more than a handful of GOP politician supporters, its pretty evident the entire gov’t is against him.

Trump is on defense and has been there for months. You cannot win any game by only playing defense.

I think the only hope we have (regarding the coup) is whether or not Sessions has anything on Comey/Obama/Lynch/Clinton.

Sessions should’ve ordered a special prosecutor to investigate the unmasking a LONNNGGG TIME AGO. Wtf?

“This will not end until they “Scooter Libby” someone close to Trump.”

No way Mueller will be satisfied with that he wants Trump. You can take it to the bank.

Agree 100%. The significance of the lack of prosecutions against these gov’t gangsters tells me they have gained the upper hand, probably through promises to make his family disappear. Either that or Sessions is a complete incompetent. Maybe both.

Arrest Mueller. Clearly he got his job due to a conspiracy of leaks.

Yeah, Rush used to quote Andy McCarthy’s breathless man-crush on Comey. Lawyers can be really dumb. They wanted to be doctors, but couldn’t hack the Organic Chemistry or Calculus.

I disagree on the Sessions recusal. I think he had no choice. Not because of any meeting with the arussians but because he was a part of the campaign. The good part is this frees him up to testify.

Meuller is at the end of his career, he won’t want it to end dirty. I think we may well be surprised. If Comey could not find anything after a year, what makes you think Meuller will be able to fabricate something.

Let's say he can. It is not going to happen. He did not appoint the guy and he is not going to fire him, not after firing Comey. It isn't going to happen.

It was a massive mistake, but it is too late now.

The current special counsel regulations specify that:[5]
The Special Counsel may be disciplined or removed from office only by the personal action of the Attorney General. The Attorney General may remove a Special Counsel for misconduct, dereliction of duty, incapacity, conflict of interest, or for other good cause, including violation of Departmental policies. The Attorney General shall inform the Special Counsel in writing of the specific reason for his or her removal.

"I’ve always wondered about why He would kill like that.
What I now reason is, He knows there are truly nasty,
evil-spirited people who will never be “rehabilitated”,
and thus His decision to eradicate them was necessary."

You've seen the light.
There will be an accounting here in America
and around the world.
I don't know when or how it will occur but it will happen.
It's not going to be nice.
