I think that is true, and he should have said as much. That Comey said so of the thing be said made that clear that he suspected as much himself and the crap about his friend was cover for what he had been doing all along.
Yes I read the memo and am reacting to the same thing everyone else is reacting to. But Levin fan boys are slow on the uptake.
1. I don't understand the anger & vitriol directed towards the media. Perhaps it's because some have not yet worked through the 5 stages; that is, they are stuck on anger.
Was a previous generation this worked up about the Nazis & Japanese? Sure, they were the enemy, but who reacted emotionally? Once one realizes the media is just like any other special interest group with a specific political agenda, then why should they be singled out as an exception? Just recognize they are an advocacy group and leave it at that.
2. With respect to daily tactics, if Trump is smart - like many of us believe - then he's ultimately focused on the long game. In this sense, he's operating on a 4 , and hopefully 8 year time line. However, in the short term is critical for him to turn Congress in his favor in 18 mos.
So, considering these factors, we can assume his offensive will be timed to achieve maximum results at least another summer from now. I think the next 12 mos will be used to prepare the field, and then the indictments and/or trials will begin before the election.
If he can't swing Congress, then he's in effect done diddly done for. He knows this, his enemies know this, and we, the American public, should know this.
Damn, give it a break. Stop think everyone is an enemy, maybe you should actually concentrate on real enemies. One of the things that hurts President Trump is foolish followers like yourself. Almost as bad as the never Trampers.
Mark Levin is so corrupt it's insane. His entire "Conservative Review" was merely a racket for the Ted Cruz campaign. That's why Levin has no problem endorsing articles that assume, right from the beginning, that Trump is a liar.
