Hillary Clinton has been reading daily devotionals since losing the election which teach her about 'being strong in the midst of unpredictability', her pastor has revealed. The Rev Bill Shillady said that the former Democratic Presidential candidate's prayers have been about 'encouragement' as she grapples with her shock defeat to Donald Trump. He said that Clinton has been finding 'strength and hope' in her Methodist faith as she tries to understand what went wrong. Clinton has only touched briefly on the personal impact her defeat has had on her making Rev Shillady's disclosure a significant insight into her state of mind.

This pastor had better watch out as he may find her blaming him next for her election loss as well as all of her other failures in life.

Prayer, if sincere, requires religious humility.
And, humility of any kind means you recognize SOMEONE or SOMETHING larger, stronger, higher and more perfect than YOU are.

I really enjoy that you often get this Joel Osteen kind of devotional. Compare this to if Billy Graham was her Pastor. Somewhere in the devotional there would be a mention of Christ. Nothing here.
Someone gave me Joel Osteen’s daily readings. Not a single one mentioned Christ, not one. Every one was the glass half full, be positive, don’t let people put you down, etc.
Compare that with my daily Billy Graham readings, that paint life the way it is, and how it is to be a Christian.
