What’s important is that this is not a spontaneous protest. It’s a staged event with CNN acting as the director and producer. It would be as if CNN hired their own children to stand there as props.

Reminds me of the Nazi Propaganda in 1939 with the Volksdeutsche in Poland crying over Polish "atrocities" against them.

I could just imagine a group with signs protesting Trump’s travel ban, then a quick wardrobe change and the same group protesting Trump’s failure to recognize LGBTQ month then another costume change and the same group protesting Trump’s pulling out of the Paris deal, etc. All with signs and wardrobes arranged by CNN and told what to chant by somebody off camera.

Even if it is a case of the “journalists” getting the best angle, it still smacks of “making up the news”. Film it and report it exactly as it happens. Don’t “stage” it to convey a certain message or create a certain optic. This is no different than leftists protests with 10 people being shot in extreme close up in order to make them look larger than they actually are while conservative protests with 100’s of people being shot from far back in order to make them look smaller.
