Trump is a Man, and an American.
Neither of which crawls - to or for anyone.

"We deem the momentum generated in Paris in December 2015 irreversible..." Gee, that's a shame. We were so looking forward to working out a few small changes with you, and rejoining the club.
Oh well. Guess we'll just be on our way then. Heh...

The renegotiation part was the only aspect of Trumps speech that left me a little uneasy, but I really figured it would go nowhere. I think the President knew the Europeans wouldn't agree to renegotiate the deal when he made the offer. I think he also knew they'd step in his trap by coming out and publicly saying so, and they did.
These 'leaders' are completely out of their league with PDJT.

I think Paris cites your number as the result of those accords. Previous to that, years back, I think the IPCC was estimating 2% in temperature increase over the next 100 years if we do nothing.
Still in either case, it is not Armageddon. The things you hear. I hear things like the atmosphere of the earth will become like the toxic one of Venus. These are the sorts of things reporters and other chicken little say - yet I don’t see how 2% could do that.
