When you call USAA you have to give them your personal PIN number before they will even talk to you. They received thousands of certified pin calls that were recorded. All calls are recorded.
They were losing long time customer accounts. That is why they reversed their decision. Plain and simple.
That’s how it happened with me. 25 year member. They are getting hammered.
Amazing what fighting back does.
I have been with them since 1971 and just now realized that this is 46 years! I didn’t realize it was that long!
I made it quite clear to the person I was speaking with on the phone that I was cancelling my auto insurance because of their decision and wanted to be sure she passed it along. Also told her that based on what decision they made on rectifying the matter would determine how I would proceed on other accounts with them. Apparently she passed it along.
