We can blame Teddy Kennedy for his work to loosen some laws, I think in the 1970s. And then blame the demoncraps in Congress. And then willing RINO's. And then both the Clinton and Obama administrations.

The Government pretty much controls the media. Anything said against the immigrants is called the equivalent of “hate speech” and banned, from what I understand.
