Nearly 1,000 soldiers will be deployed in London, the traditional Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace has been cancelled for an “indefinite period”, and the Palace of Westminster has been closed to the public following the terror attack in Manchester Monday.
British Home Secretary Amber Rudd confirmed today that 984 military personnel will be deployed in the UK capital following the raising of the terror threat level from “severe” to “critical” on Tuesday night.
Up to 5,000 soldiers could be deployed in total, initially be deployed in London, then across the rest of the country.
Soldiers will replace armed police at sites including Buckingham Palace, Downing Street, and the Palace of Westminster as part of Operation Temperer. The deployment has been reportedly made to allow armed police to be sent elsewhere.

Maybe Im super jaded or my foil is on tight but I think they have no problem at all with the serfs getting splattered every now and then.
They like the new normal. Period.
British subjects will be thrown into prison for complaining about the millions of m*slims in their country, and for saying that they blow themselves up, slice necks, or rape the people.
The British flag will lose the Cross of St George, and the queen will be wearing a burka.
I know they are mostly ceremonial but is it possible the Guard could, er, guard? Including themselves?

I can completely see how you could come to that conclusion.
I am worried about us in the US reaching that level of...what? Dhimmism? Pussyism? Pacification? We already have a large portion of the population that falls right in line with that.
Thankfully, we also have a large segment (at least right now) that isn’t that.
If they let us all walk around with an automatic weapon on a sling like the Israelis do, we might have a better chance of avoiding the British dhimmi fate.
The Guards are real soldiers. Not sure why they need extra troops to guard Buckingham.
So Britain is deploying troops in defense of their island.
Logical...they have been invaded.
Problem is, their stupid and careless politicians invited the invaders in to take hold large “beachheads” throughout their country. Perhaps in this election season, British voters should take a look at the politicians that put them in this position...that is, if they can take a moment from their victim-vigils.
