Robert Mueller is tasked with finding a crime that does not exist in the law. It is a legal impossibility.
As special counsel, Mueller can engage in all manner of spectacular jurisprudential gymnastics. However, it will not change the fact that colluding with Russia is not, under America’s criminal codes, a crime. It’s just not there.
Maybe it should be. Perhaps someday Congress will pass a law criminalizing such conduct in political campaigns. But for now, there is not a single statute outlawing collaboration with a foreign government in a U.S. presidential election. Or any election, for that matter.
Why, then, are so many people who are following the Trump-Russia saga under the mistaken impression that collusion is a crime? Principally, because it is a loaded word with an historic criminal connotation.

He’s investigating why Hillary failed to win the election rigged in her favor.

Comey was trying to drag this thing out to politically hurt Trump at the mid terms....thats why Roger Stone or anyone else has NOT been contacted by the FBI. Hillary blames him for the loss, and he was just “making up” for it.
It were treason if the USA was engaged in a war against each other or at least direct hostilities. Otherwise it is not even treason. Colluding with the Russians/USSRians to influence American elections is and has long been SOP for Democrats.

Treason is defined as betraying ones country, or overthrowing the government. I do not believe the actions spoken of qualify to be called treason. The desire to get ones nation back on track, to become strong and fiscally responsible rises to be called treason.
I’m disgusted with liberals, I’m disgusted with conservatives. Everybody seems to be carrying on one grand game of Calvinball with moral compasses smashed to smithereens.
There was never a special council appointed for F&R, IRS, missign and destroyed HDs, clintion’s attemps to hide what she was doing from oversight, or obumber spying on Trump campaign.
Or fast and furious, or obama spying on Americans which was illegal, or or or- funny how it’s always the democrats that get up special councils to investigate but republicans never go after democrats with this much commitment even though we’ve had ample opportunity to do so
