MANCHESTER, England — Greater Manchester Police say they have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the apparent suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in the city.
Police say the man was arrested in south Manchester Tuesday, a day after the explosion killed 22 people and injured 59, many of them teenagers.
They did not provide details.

If it’s done “right” (major organs/blood vessels not hit by the pike) it’s said the impalee can live for a day or two after being impaled.
Vlad’s impalers are said to have been able to do it “right”.
Even if it’s not done right, one can still be impaled while alive.

Properly done, impalement doesn’t kill quickly, byt takes a long time to do its job.
It is intended as a graphic demonstration of punishment for the crime.
Applying the death penalty in a secret room, hidden from the public doesn’t have the same effect as doing it in public where all can see the perp’s punishment.

People can't grasp that, but human history certainly records the blood lust for human sacrifice that is common among pagan religions. Paganism has certainly become the religion of the West again, as it was before the rise of Christianity. Sacrifice of their own children grants the pagan moral absolution for their contamination of Mother Earth.
Islamic terrorists are the priestly caste that carries out the sacrifices.
