Open marriage is an oxymoron.

Hmmmm, if I could clone my hubby, I might consider polyandry :-)

Does the left ever stop thinking with it’s genitals?

There’s no thinking involved. Just the genitals.

short answer: no
longer answer: occasionally, just to think of how superior they are for their social justice beliefs.

Is not a marriage as much a commitment to God as each other? True intimacy is a gift from heaven and I am not sure how you experience it when you dishonor the commitment you made before the Lord. I mean maybe this works for some people but it doesn’t even process for me. You either have the marriage commitment and keep it intact or what is the point of it? I guess I don’t understand their perspective. I freely admit that I never in my life want to understand their perspective, either.

I really just felt like it was right, like it was important to my growth. It was like I was choosing to take a stand for my own pleasure and sticking to it. It was so strong, that feeling. So the first open-ended wife (can I say that?), Elizabeth, stood up for her right to pursue pleasure.
Oh, what courage. Oh, what a cutting-edge idea. Oh, what a lifestyle trail-blazer she is, determined for the first time in human history "to boldly go where no woman has gone before."
Oh, what a crock.

New York Times is really getting hard up for copy. Wow. New lows in journalism. NO, it will not work, an open marriage.
To: C19fan
How funny! Of course not! I really believe an open marriage is the couple stating we really should end our marriage, but are too chicken shiet to face the world. So why not give this a go.

Just the destruction of “marriage” by undermining it in everyway.
Whether polygamy or open marriage or the already approved homosexual marriage, on all fronts until we’re all atomized and alone, interchangeable in relationships but equally dependent on the state.

When my lovely wife turned 40, I teased her that I was thinking about trading her in on two 20's.
She said, "Great. I could use some extra help around the house."
Ziiiing! No reply. I know when I've been aced.

She said, "Great. I could use some extra help around the house."It is every womans fantasy to have three men at the same time. One cleaning the bathroom, one cooking dinner and one weeding the flowerbeds.
