Comey needed to go. But why now? Trump should have done it the day he became President. This just leaves it open to interpretation and speculation to be presented as truth by the Democrats and the Press.
If Trump has patriot friends in the NSA, perhaps they needed to wait for Comey to ‘say certain things’ to Huma or Hillary on his personal cellphone. Hmmmm?
The deputy AG was just confirmed a couple of weeks ago and he is Comey’s direct boss and he came to this conclusion at this time.

Because yesterday he went in front of a congressional committee and said Huma Weiner sent thousands of classified emails to her husbands computer. He accidently told the truth.
Of course, no charges are coming down on Huma. Then today the FBI had to “correct” his accidently honest testimony.
So that’s why now. Trump waited for the moron to be a moron in public, then the axe fell. Simple as that. And he’s fired people before. It’s fun for him.

Comey said the leaks were the subject of an ongoing FBI investigation.
According to yesterday’s testimony, neither Clapper nor Yates have been questioned by the FBI regarding the leaks.
This proves among other things that Comey uses his position to control others without actually doing the job that an FBI director is supposed to do, investigate and make a referral to the DOJ.
This is a “just cause” firing if ever you saw one.
He never subpoened the DNC server. Why would the head of a law enforcement agency not do this?
Comey has announced investigation yet never investigates and strings along the target of the investigation for years. That’s bad. They have been investigating Trump/Russia for almost a year, yet, nothing.
Comey used his office to lord over politicians, both Dem and Repub. Trump waited for the live testimony to make it clear.
